Where It All Started

Benjamin Black was founded by Benjamin Clark and Amy Cunningham in 2013. Having both worked in the jewellery industry - Benjamin as a trade certified manufacturing jeweller and Amy in sales/marketing - the couple decided to combine their efforts and start their own business.  

Our team of talented designers include Katy Sinnott, Holly Brunner and Emily Holmes who manage the laser engraving process and customer enquiries along with Jason Potts, who also has a flare for design.

Amy and Benjamin manage the business along with their sister brand, Black Matter, and their busy family. Benjamin Black has won many awards over the years, ranging from Delloite Fast 50 Rising Star (one to watch) Award, GEM Retail Hotlist Best Provincial Retailer and Young Business Person of the Year Award. Signet Rings by Benjamin Black has been a natural progression that aligns with Benjamin Black’s company values. A signet ring is a symbol of family, love and memories.
